Evolutionary Continuity

People have hearts. Animals have hearts but they don't always look like ours. People have brains. Animals have brains but they don't always looks like ours. People have stomachs. Animals have stomachs but they don't always looks like ours.

We all share physical and mental traits both within a species and between other species but we rarely present the outward image of these traits in the same manner. My presentation of digestion of lactose doesn't negate your stomach if you do not digest lactose. Therefore my presentation of joy, sorrow, pain and empathy does not negate your or any other person or animal's presentation of the same emotions.

Love to all creatures
